The Company
EMACS Electrical & Mechanical Repairs is a fast growing company and a major player in the rotating equipment repair industry with over 70 dedicated employees. We are a complete service provider for all rotating machinery overhauls, service, installation, shutdowns and field service. Located in Yatala, we service the mining, electrical and mechanical repair industries, specialising in electric motors, pumps and gearbox repairs.
We are QA accredited (ISO 9001:2015 and AS/NZS 3800-2012 ANZEx scheme) and pride ourselves on being a 24/7 one stop shop for all heavy mechanical and electric repairs.
About The Role
We require experienced and motivated workers to be part of a happy and productive team which enjoys supportive management and leadership. Our workshop enjoys good and ever-expanding tools; we will get what is needed to do the job right.
Joining our team will give you a broad range of equipment and tasks to work on as well as large amounts of overtime are on offer.
Afternoon and Night shift options (with shift pay uplift) are available
The Successful Candidate
Experience in electric motors
Strong fault diagnostic skills
Excellent communication skills when dealing with team members and clients
The ability to work unsupervised and demonstrate a can-do attitude in a team environment
A very strong safety focus
Flexibility to work overtime to meet deadlines
Ability to undertake site work when required
Current drivers and forklift licences
