GTR Kenworth DAF Geelong is looking for a Qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in North Geelong.

We've been in business for 15 years and are the authorized Parts and Service dealership for Kenworth, DAF and PACCAR Parts in Geelong. We also work on other trucks and trailers, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, honest advice, and keeping our customers' vehicles moving.

We're a heavy vehicle workshop and parts business based in North Geelong.

We're the authorized dealership for Kenworth, DAF and PACCAR Parts and Service in Geelong, and we support customers with:

• servicing

• repairs

• diagnostics

• warranty work

• genuine and aftermarket parts sales and support

We work on Kenworth and DAF vehicles, along with other truck and trailer brands, and we're known for listening first, communicating clearly, and doing the job right.

We're looking for a mechanic who can step into a busy heavy vehicle workshop and contribute with confidence.

You'll be working across servicing, repairs, diagnostics, maintenance & warranty work, with exposure to Kenworth, DAF, other truck brands, and trailers.

This is a hands-on role for someone who knows their trade, works well with others, and is willing to keep learning, including dealership training and development.

Essential

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Mechanical Technology

• 5+ years' experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic

• Experience working on Kenworth and DAF vehicles

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability

• Quality workmanship and pride in doing the job properly

• Ability to work well within a team

• Willingness to train and continue learning in the Kenworth/DAF dealership environment

• Experience working on other heavy vehicle brands and trailers

• A direct, honest, team-first attitude

• Respect for safety, process, and workshop standards

• HC License

• AC License

• 
  $45 - $55 per hour, depending on experience + super
