About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Fixed Plant Recycling Plant Operator to join our team on a full-time basis. This is an on-site role where you will be responsible for operating and monitoring fixed recycling plant equipment to ensure the safe and efficient processing of recyclable materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor fixed recycling plant equipment.

• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine plant checks.

• Monitor plant performance and identify operational issues.

• Perform basic maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping duties.

• Safely load, sort, and process recyclable materials.

• Complete production and maintenance records accurately.

• Follow all safety procedures, environmental regulations, and company policies.

• Work collaboratively with the maintenance and operations teams to minimise downtime.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience operating fixed plant or industrial processing equipment (preferred).

• Experience in the recycling, waste, quarry, manufacturing, or processing industries is highly regarded.

• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.

• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

• A current driver's licence (preferred).

• Forklift ticket, loader, or excavator experience is advantageous but not essential.
