CMDB & Asset Management Specialist – Cloud Raptor Australia

Location: Melbourne, Australia - Hybrid Employment Type: 6 Month fixed term contractCMDB & Asset Management Specialist (3 months to start):

Establish the CMDB in Freshdesk, populated with all relevant AFCA assets required to support vulnerability prioritisation, remediation planning, change impact assessment, and executive‑level risk decisions. This role is focused on doing work covering populate, reconcile and operationalise the CMDB.

Capture and populate all AFCA assets within the CMDB within Freshdesk, covering:

Servers (legacy and current)Core infrastructure and shared servicesAssets required to support vulnerability and patching decisions

Reconcile Asset Data Across

FreshdeskTenableServer and infrastructure inventories

Enforce core CMDB attributes as defined by AFCA, which may include:

Asset identityBusiness and technical ownershipAsset criticalityLifecycle stateHosting and environment context

Work directly with Security, Infrastructure, and IT Service Management stakeholders to:

Resolve missing or inconsistent asset informationValidate ownership and criticality

Ensure CMDB Data Directly Supports

Risk‑based vulnerability prioritisationPatch planning and schedulingCAB and change impact assessment

Ensure capturing of information in Freshdesk is maintainable and operational CMDB, not a one‑off snapshot
