Accounts Assistant

RJC Group is a leader in stonemasonry and heritage restoration, offering expertise for Builders, Heritage Consultants, and Government Projects on sensitive and significant restoration projects.

This role will work closely with our in-house accountant to gain valuable experience in a busy and thriving construction company. This role is part-time.

Key Responsibilities

• General administration support.

• Managing emails and phone enquiries.

• Enter supplier, subcontractor and consultant invoices into Xero with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

• Assist with preparation and processing of client invoices.

• Support accounts payable and receivable activities.

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.

• Provide additional support to Accountant and Office Manager for daily tasks, month-end activity and ad hoc duties.

• Basic bookkeeping duties and tax reporting requirements.

 Your background

• Certificate III in Accounts Administration or a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or Diploma is a must.

• Experience in construction would be advantageous but not a must, as you will learn all the necessities of the industry in the role.

• At least 2 years' experience in a previous role.

• Hold permanent working rights in Australia.
