15-25 Hours per week

$33 per hour (Award wages)

A Private Club is seeking a reliable and versatile Casual Hospitality Fine Dining and Cleaner All‑Rounder to join our small and friendly team. This unique dual-role position supports both the Club’s fine dining front‑of‑house operations and housekeeping. Hours fluctuate between 15 and 25 hours per week depending on Club activity, with most shifts occurring during the day however some nights and weekends will be required.

About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in maintaining high standards, and is comfortable working across both cleaning and hospitality service areas.

Daily tasks

• General cleaning of the dining areas (vacuum, dust, polish, etc) and member bathrooms

• General cleaning of outdoor areas

• Storage of stock

You will contribute to the smooth daily operation of the Club by supporting:

• Fine Dining food & beverage service within our dining rooms and private function spaces

• Housekeeping and cleaning tasks across accommodation areas

Key Responsibilities

Fine Dining

• Meet, greet, seat and farewell Members and Guests in dining and private dining areas

• Take orders, serve meals and beverages, and clear tables to Club standards

• Help ensure tables are correctly set, clean, and ready for service

• Handle members and guests concerns professionally

• Communicate effectively with the House Manager regarding any service issues or changes

• Maintain a clean and hygienic bar and restaurant environment

• Adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements

• Carry out other duties as instructed from time to time

Housekeeping / Cleaning

Provide housekeeping services to accommodation rooms when house guests are in residence.

Complete full room servicing upon guest departure, including:

1. Changing linen and making beds

2. Emptying rubbish

3. Dusting, vacuuming, and general room presentation

4. Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms (showers, toilets, basins, floors)

5. Restocking amenities (toilet paper, soaps, shampoo, tissues, coffee/tea, milk, biscuits etc.)

6. Cleaning the pantry, restocking fridges and cupboards, and wash floors

7. Vacuum stairs and accommodation hallways

8. Unpack, sort and distribute linen across upstairs and downstairs areas

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in fine dining

• Is reliable, punctual, well‑presented and service‑oriented

• Works well independently and as part of a team

• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in their work

• Communicates professionally with members, guests and colleagues

• Holds an RSA certificate
