Supermarket Supervisor

Paddington Food Hall is a busy neighborhood supermarket looking for a reliable and motivated Supervisor to join our team. This role suits someone who is hands-on, enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, and is comfortable taking responsibility for day-to-day store operations and leading staff on shift.

What we are looking for:

A current NSW RSA and previous experience in a supermarket or grocery retail environment are essential. You should be practical, dependable, and comfortable working both on the shop floor and in a supervisory capacity.

The successful candidate will be:

• Reliable, punctual, and well presented

• A clear communicator who can lead by example

• Organised and able to manage tasks in a busy environment

• Focused on good customer service and team support

• Comfortable taking responsibility during shifts

Key Responsibilities:

This role is a mix of hands-on retail work and shift supervision, including:

• Running day-to-day store operations and check-out areas

• Supporting customer service across the team

• Re-stocking shelves and maintaining store presentation

• Receiving deliveries and unpacking pallets

• Helping ensure smooth store operations throughout the day

As you settle into the role, you may also be responsible for:

• Stock ordering and basic inventory tasks

• Supervising and supporting staff on shift

• Acting as Duty Manager during trading hours
