BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Team Leader, Active Living Team - Permanent Full-time position
• Lead a multidisciplinary team to support people to access and receive high-quality CHSP services.
• Work collaboratively with other Team Leaders across the program, division and organisation to deliver integrated and effective services.
• Drive team performance, service quality and continuous improvement to achieve positive outcomes for clients and the community
YOUR NEW ROLE:
The Team Leader - Active Living Team will be responsible for:
• Providing leadership and direction to the multidisciplinary staff in day-to-day operations
• Includes disciplines and services- Allied Health Assistants, Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapists
• Support the team to deliver high quality, safe, evidence-based services to the community and in line with Holsteps Health’s strategic directions.
• Accountable for the operational performance of the team, including service delivery, workforce management, quality and safety, and continuous improvement.
• Works collaboratively with the Manager and other Team Leaders to drive service integration and implement innovative, appropriate, effective and efficient model’s of care to improve client outcomes
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Contribute to the implementation of the Program Plan and organisational Strategic Direction
• Identify service trends, community needs and opportunities for service innovation
• Lead the day-to-day operations of the team to ensure effective service delivery
• Build a culture of accountability for monitoring and reconciling performance targets against service delivery and funding requirements
• Lead a culture of quality improvement, safety and accountability
• Lead all aspects of the employee lifecycle (recruitment, development, performance, retention)
• Provide regular operational supervision, coaching and support to staff
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
What you will need:
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Allied Health or Nursing
• Normally at least seven (7) years' experience in the relevant Allied Health profession
• Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in the relevant Allied Health profession
• Advanced time management and organisational skills
• Advance communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead and manage change
