About the role
Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining public spaces, and has experience operating a range of plant and equipment? We are seeking a motivated and reliable Multi-Skilled Labourer to join our team and help maintain some of our community's most valued recreational and public spaces, including Tolosa Park, Montrose Foreshore, and the GASP Pavilion.
About the Role
As a Multi-Skilled Labourer, you will play a key role in maintaining Council's parks, gardens, foreshore areas, and community facilities to ensure they remain safe, attractive, and welcoming for residents and visitors. Working across a range of outdoor environments, you will undertake grounds maintenance activities, operate and maintain plant and equipment, service public amenities, and assist with the upkeep of recreational spaces, gardens, and open areas.
This diverse and hands-on position requires a proactive approach to identifying and reporting maintenance issues, supporting irrigation and chemical application activities, and ensuring public facilities are presented to a high standard. You will also engage positively with members of the community while working in accordance with all workplace health, safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
