We're looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our North Brisbane team, supporting adults with complex physical disabilities, neurological conditions and psychosocial disabilities to live independently and achieve their goals.

These are long-term opportunities with consistent shifts available across Warner, Enoggera and Taigum.

About the role

No two days are the same, however your role may include:

• Personal care and manual handling
• Medication assistance
• Meal preparation and household support
• Community participation and transport
• Supporting participants to build independence
• Following Positive Behaviour Support Plans where required
• Building trusted, professional relationships

About you

You'll bring:

• Experience supporting people with disability
• A calm, compassionate and professional approach
• Confidence providing personal care
• Strong communication skills
• A commitment to delivering person-centred supports

Experience supporting participants with acquired brain injury, Parkinson's disease, trauma or complex physical disabilities will be highly regarded.

Essential requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• QLD Working With Children Check
• Driver Licence and reliable vehicle
• Working rights in Australia
• First Aid and CPR (desirable, but not essential)

Pay: $36.81 per hour
