The Role

Looking for a rewarding mental health nursing role where you can make a real difference in the lives of older people?

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Older Persons Community Mental Health Team. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will provide recovery-oriented, person-centred care to consumers aged 65 years and over experiencing mental illness, supporting them to achieve their goals and maintain independence within their community. 

In this diverse and rewarding role, you will work closely with consumers, families, carers, aged care providers, general practitioners and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive mental health assessment, care coordination and therapeutic interventions across a range of community settings. 

You will join a dedicated team of nursing and allied health professionals committed to delivering evidence-based care, fostering meaningful recovery outcomes and enhancing the wellbeing of older people in our community.

Where you'll be working

You will be based at Older Persons Community Mental Health, ESMHS, working Monday to Friday 0830-1700. You will be located on the Prince of Wales Hospital campus, Randwick. Close by to beaches, cafes and access to a great lifestyle.
