Optical Dispenser / Vision Therapist
Are you an experienced Optical Dispenser looking for a role where you can grow into something more?
Rowville Eyecare is looking for a full-time Optical Dispenser / Vision Therapist to join our close-knit team.
This role is ideal for someone with solid optical dispensing experience who wants to broaden their skills and develop expertise in vision therapy.
You’ll work closely with patients, help them choose the right eyewear, support them throughout their care journey and receive structured, hands-on training to become confident in delivering vision therapy sessions.
About you
You’re warm, encouraging and confident with patients, and you genuinely enjoy working with children.
You take pride in doing things properly. You’re reliable, organised and consistent, communicate clearly, pay close attention to detail and remain calm when the practice gets busy.
You’re also open to feedback, eager to learn and ready to take ownership of your role.
You’ll be:

Optical dispensing experience is essential.
You’ll also need to be willing to complete training as a Vision Therapist.
About the role
As an Optical Dispenser and Vision Therapist at Rowville Eyecare, your responsibilities will include:
Optical dispensing and frame styling
Helping patients select suitable lenses and eyewear
Delivering structured vision therapy sessions
Working with children and their families throughout their vision therapy program
Tracking and documenting patient progress
Supporting front desk duties, bookings and general practice operations
You’ll play an important role in both the clinical care and overall patient experience of the practice.
