Optical Receptionist/Assistant – Full-time | Salisbury, SA

Are you a people person with a can-do attitude? At T&M Optometry, we're looking for a warm, reliable, and organised individual to join our growing team in the heart of Salisbury as an Optical Receptionist/Assistant.

In this role, you'll be the friendly face who welcomes patients, keeps the day running smoothly, and supports our optometrists in delivering exceptional care. If you enjoy helping others, staying organised, and being part of a positive, people-focused workplace, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

• Greeting and assisting patients with professionalism and warmth

• Booking and managing appointments for our four optometrists

• Handling phone calls, emails, and general patient enquiries

• Keeping the reception and waiting areas tidy and welcoming

• Processing payments via EFTPOS, HICAPS, and Medicare

• Maintaining patient records and completing general administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and emailing

• Supporting our dispensing team and assisting with general reception duties

What we're looking for:

• A friendly, approachable personality with excellent communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

• Confidence using computers and Microsoft Office

• A proactive team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment

• Previous experience in optical, reception, or customer service is highly advantageous
