The Company

You will be joining a highly regarded Tier 2 builder with a proven track record delivering large-scale residential and mixed-use developments across Sydney.

Strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation for delivering complex, high-quality projects

Their projects are typically large-scale, high-density developments, and they are known for maintaining a high-performing, well-supported site culture.

Due to a recent project award, they are now seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the team on a landmark inner-city development.

The Project

You will be working on a major residential development comprising 400+ apartments, forming part of a broader mixed-use precinct in Sydney’s inner suburbs.

This is a complex, multi-stage builds with significant structures and finishes scope, offering excellent exposure to a large-scale, high-profile project environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in driving the delivery of the project from a technical and coordination perspective.

Key Responsibilities Include

Managing design coordination and implementationShort and long-term programming supportAssisting with budgeting, forecasting, and reportingDriving project delivery across quality, WHS, and programmeCoordinating subcontractors across structures and finishesManaging RFIs, variations, and design changesBuilding strong relationships with consultants and stakeholders

About You

Degree qualified in Engineering or Construction Management5+ years’ experience with a head contractor (Tier 1-3)Strong experience on large-scale residential or mixed-use projects ($100M+)Solid understanding of structures and finishes deliveryStrong commercial awareness and contract knowledgeConfident communicator with the ability to manage stakeholders and subcontractorsDriven, proactive, and looking to step into a key delivery role
