• Commitment to authentic bi-cultural education
• Experience as an EAL/D educator who has developed students’ literacy and numeracy skills using explicit teaching practices.
• Experience in learning from and working collaboratively in teaching teams with First Nations teachers in multi-age classrooms.
• Opportunities where you’ve shown initiative and delivered purposeful learning alongside creative problem solving.
• Experience teaching in remote communities / homelands.

Other requirements:

• Eligible teacher qualification and NT registration (TRBNT)
• Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights. Sponsorship is unavailable.
• Apply for a NT Ochre Card (Working with Children Check) before you start
• Hold a full, manual drivers licence
