About the role
The Senior Pool Barrier Inspector is responsible for leading the City's private swimming pool barrier inspection program and ensuring statutory compliance with the Building Act 2011, Building Regulations 2012 and relevant Australian Standards.
The position provides technical leadership and supervision to Pool Barrier Inspectors to ensure the timely completion of inspections in line with statutory timeframes, supports consistent regulatory decision-making, and undertakes complex compliance and enforcement activities.
The role works closely with property owners, contractors and other stakeholders to achieve compliance while contributing to continuous improvement of inspection processes, customer service and legislative compliance.

The salary for this position will be from $97,690.06 to $116,436.70 per annum, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
