Plastering Tradesmen - Commercial

About the role

Specialised Plaster & Construction is seeking experienced Plastering Tradesmen - Commercial to join our growing team in Launceston, Tasmania. This is a full-time position based on-site, where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plastering work on commercial projects. As a key member of our trade team, you will play an essential role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards and within agreed timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Install metal stud partitions.

• Install suspended ceilings

• Apply a range of plasterboard, cement sheeting and other materials to wall and ceiling framing.

• Install fire rated and acoustic wall and ceiling systems.

What we're looking for

• Trade qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience in commercial plastering

• Proven track record of working on commercial projects with attention to detail and precision

• Competency in applying various plaster types and finishes to meet commercial standards

• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements and practices

• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual labour and work at heights when required

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Reliable and punctual with a professional approach to work

• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required

• Experience with commercial-scale projects and fast-paced construction environments is highly desirable
