About the role
International Teacher Visa Sponsorship Program
We are seeking qualified and experienced Secondary Teachers (7-12) from Singapore or South Africa to join our dynamic team and contribute to the enriching educational experience we offer our students. As part of this program, we provide comprehensive sponsorship benefits to selected international teachers and their families.
About the School:
Malek Fahd Islamic School Ltd (MFIS) is a growing Kindergarten to Year 12 Muslim School with more than 3000 students across three locations with four campuses.
Our Vision:
The leading school for Islamic education in Australia.
Our Mission:
Empower every learner to achieve their full potential through an Islamic education.
As members of the MFIS community, staff will foster an environment that nurtures God-consciousness (taqwa). We embody the Islamic values of honour, humility, self-respect and dignity. At MFIS, we align with the religious consensus (ijma’) that is established in the Quran, the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Sunni scholarly tradition spanning fourteen centuries.

Benefits of the International Teacher Sponsorship Program:
Visa Sponsorship: We will sponsor the Subclass 482 (Temporary Skill Shortage) visa for selected international teachers, covering all associated costs. This includes the visa application costs for the applicant and their immediate household family members, specifically their spouse and children (if any).
Relocation Allowance: A relocation assistance allowance will be provided to help facilitate the transition. This may include assistance with accommodation, flights, airport transfers and settling into the new community.
Support in Relocating: The program facilitates relocation to Sydney, Australia, a vibrant and diverse city known for its excellent quality of life, with the possibility of a permanent or long-term stay depending on immigration approval. We also offer support in navigating the transition to a new city.
Competitive Remuneration: International teachers will receive a competitive salary package commensurate with their qualifications, experience, and the relevant Industrial Agreement.
Professional Development: International teachers will have access to a wide range of professional development opportunities, including workshops, training sessions, and programs to enhance their skills and effectiveness in the classroom.
Cultural Exchange: Joining MFIS provides an opportunity for international teachers to share their expertise and cultural perspectives, fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment for both students and staff.
