Details: Are you an experienced regulatory leader with expertise in audit, risk management, compliance and governance?
Education and Care Regulation and Support (ECRS) is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Director, Audit and Risk Management to lead a specialist team responsible for monitoring and supporting compliance across the ACT's education and care sectors. This leadership role provides oversight of audit, risk, and regulatory functions relating to education and care services and non-government schools.
We are seeking a collaborative and innovative leader who can develop staff, foster a positive and high-performing team culture, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive continuous improvement in audit, risk and compliance practices.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in administrative law, auditing, regulation, risk management, governance, compliance, or a related field are highly desirable. Applicants with experience in regulatory oversight, auditing or the interpretation and application of legislation and policy will be highly regarded.
Related qualifications and equivalent professional experience may also be considered where applicants can demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and capabilities required to successfully perform the responsibilities of the role.
