Classification: DKHAC Level 2
Agreement: Hobart City Council Enterprise Agreement 2024
Salary range: $41.05 per hour , inclusive of sessional rates and casual loading + 13.5% superannuation.
Multiple roles available.
This role contributes to the success of the City by delivering gym sessions at the Doone Kennedy Hobart Aquatic Centre, with a focus on member engagement, consistency of service delivery, continuous improvement, and supporting the day-to-day operation of the gym.

You are a passionate fitness professional who enjoys helping people achieve their health and wellbeing goals. You thrive in a customer-focused environment and are committed to delivering exceptional service, building positive relationships and creating a safe, inclusive and motivating experience for all gym users.
With experience providing individual fitness instruction, you can confidently assess clients, develop tailored exercise programs and adapt your approach to suit a diverse range of fitness levels and needs. You bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also working independently when required.
Relevant Industry Qualifications are essential for this role. Qualifications required include:
