Warehouse Manager

breadsolutions  is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager for a contract period of 3 months to oversee our Braeside and Dandenong South warehouse operations. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth, safe and compliant flow of raw materials and consumables that keep our production lines running.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on structure and accuracy, and who is motivated to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

?      Manage the accurate and timely receipting, storage and dispatch of goods, checking deliveries against purchase orders and supplier invoices

?      Maintain full traceability of ingredients and batches, and ensure FIFO stock rotation across both warehouses and the rear yard

?      Oversee daily reconciliation of Dynamics ERP- inventory records, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies

?      Monitor stock quality and use-by dates, and accurately record and manage production waste to minimise loss

?      Liaise closely with Production, Procurement, and Engineering team to keep operations running smoothly

?      Lead and supervise the warehouse team ensuring that all GMP and HACCP requirements are met. 

?      Champion a safety-first culture, particularly around forklift and materials handling equipment use

?      Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across warehouse and yard processes

?      Proven experience in a Warehouse Manager or senior warehouse supervisory role, ideally within food manufacturing or FMCG

?      Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control and GMP / food safety standards

?      Current forklift licence and hands-on experience operating warehouse equipment

?      Confident using inventory / ERP systems - Dynamics with strong attention to detail and accuracy
