Amora Hotel Adelaide is a five-star hotel in the heart of the city on Victoria Square, offering 380 contemporary rooms and suites. Conveniently located near Adelaide Central Market, Chinatown and key business precincts, the hotel features extensive conference and event facilities, dining venues, a fitness center, outdoor heated pool, complimentary Wi-Fi and 24-hour room service.
The Role:
We're seeking a people-focused HR Coordinator to support our HR operations and employee initiatives, helping to build a positive and engaged workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, learning & development, performance management, and HR administration.
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities, including job advertising, interview scheduling, employment contracts, and onboarding.
Provide timely support and guidance to leaders and team members on HR-related queries.
Maintain accurate employee records, HR documentation, and reporting requirements.
Assist with training coordination, induction programs, compliance training, and employee development initiatives.
Support performance review processes and employee lifecycle activities.
Coordinate employee engagement, recognition programs, staff events, and internal communications.
Assist with payroll administration and benefits processes.
Support workplace health and safety initiatives, workers' compensation, and return-to-work programs.
Ensure compliance with employment legislation, policies, procedures, and relevant awards.
Partner with department leaders to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
Champion company values and contribute to continuous improvement across HR practices and processes.
Skills and Experience
Diploma in Human Resources or related discipline (essential).
Minimum 2 years' HR experience, ideally within hospitality, hotel, or travel industries.
Knowledge of employment legislation, workplace relations, and HR best practices.
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (highly regarded).
Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
Excellent organization, communication, and time management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
