Trainee Accountant

About the Role

Lloyd Accounting Co. Pty Ltd is seeking a Trainee Accountant to join our team in Albury, NSW.

In this role you will work with a broad range of clients while receiving hands-on training and mentoring from our experienced accounting team. This isn’t just a desk job processing numbers – you will gain exposure to all aspects of our business and develop practical skills that will set you up for a successful career in public practice.

What You will Be Doing

·         Working closely with clients to help them achieve their business goals. 

·         Assisting with the preparation of income tax returns and management accounts for individuals, partnerships. trusts and company structures.

·         Preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS).

·         Supporting the team with a variety of accounting, taxation and business advisory services.

·         Building strong relationships with clients and providing excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For

You will:

·         Currently be studying or planning to commence an accounting degree in 2027 or have recently graduated with an accounting qualification.

·         Enjoy solving problems and thinking critically - public practice is about much more than just numbers.

·         Be friendly, professional and genuinely care about delivering great outcomes for clients.

·         Enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

·         Have strong communications skills and a willingness to learn.
