Milky Lane is seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join the team at our venues across Perth, Western Australia.

We are currently hiring for the following Kitchen roles: CHEF
This is a casual Chef position based at Milky Lane Elizabeth Quay, Southlands, Currambine, and Bunbury, Perth, Western Australia. There is opportunity to progress to Full time.
The successful applicant will assist in managing kitchen operations, preparing and cooking menu items to a consistent standard, and supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
$70,000 – $80,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
Minimum 1 years of relevant post-qualification experience as a Chef
Demonstrated experience working in a commercial kitchen environment
Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented kitchen environment
Capacity to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume service environment
Strong organisational and time management skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Milky Lane recipes and standards
Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, and presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
Assist with stock rotation, stock control, and ordering
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and venue management
Assist with kitchen preparation and service during peak periods
Support efforts to minimise food waste and maintain cost control
