Process Worker/Distribution Operator

We are a West Australian, family owned Company passionate about our product and a leader in the free-range fresh produce industry, proudly supplying premium product to major retailers, butchers and restaurants with a distribution network extending across Australia and internationally.

About the Role

Our distribution team is looking for a motivated Afternoon / Night Shift Distribution Operator (12-8pm) to join our team at our Rockingham site, with a genuine pathway to step into a Team Leader role as you build your skills and experience.  You will be part of a close-knit night crew responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatching finished products.  If you're safety-conscious, reliable under pace and looking for a role where hard work is recognised and rewarded with real progression, this is for you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Receive, handle and dispatch goods moving through the distribution facility

• Load and unload vehicles in the load-out area within required timeframes, in line with OH&S and QA procedures

• Pick and pack orders and palletise stock using RF handheld technology to meet KPIs

• Store and dispatch products in accordance with company procedures and QA guidelines

• Take part in regular stock-takes and help maintain stock accuracy

• Keep your work area clean, tidy and compliant with QA and safety standards

• Work collaboratively with the team to meet all safety objectives

• Report hazards and incidents promptly

• Support site security and help protect company property

• As you progress: help train and coach new team members and take on informal leadership tasks ahead of a formal Team Leader step-up

What We're Looking For

• Sound understanding of (or willingness to quickly learn) safety and quality procedures

• Experience with RF handheld scanning technology is an advantage

• Comfortable working night shift in a fast-paced, chilled environment

• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

• Physically fit and able to meet the demands of a hands-on warehouse role

• Forklift licence (LF) with High Reach experience highly regarded, or willingness to obtain

• Ambition to grow into a supervisory role, with the reliability and safety mindset to back it up
