Our client, a long-established Gold Coast accounting firm, is seeking an assistant practice manager to play a pivotal role between client services and practice management, ensuring smooth daily operations across the practice. 

The Role: 

• Managing workflow coordination, job scheduling and team resourcing 
• Preparing client communications, documentation and correspondence 
• Delivering timely and professional client service while supporting day-to-day office operations 
• Supporting daily practice operations to ensure everything runs efficiently  
• Providing administrative support to partners and senior accountants  
• Managing workflow coordination, job scheduling and team resourcing  
• Assisting with onboarding new clients and maintaining accurate client records  
• Helping improve internal systems, processes and practice-wide initiatives  

About You: 

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in administration, office coordination, or practice support in professional services 
• Strong organisational, multitasking and problem-solving skills 
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in excel and cloud-based systems (FYI, Xero Tax, MYOB Practice Manager)  
• Excellent communication and client service skills 
• Positive, proactive mindset and desire to support a collaborative, high-performing team 
• Experience using the ATO and ASIC portals services experience highly regarded  
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
