Internal Sales Officer

Oxworks is Australia’s largest privately owned manufacturer and distributor of quality fencing products with over 300 staff across 21 locations nationally. Operating for over 20 years, we continue to be a market leader in the industry.

We are looking for highly motivated people to join our Internal Trade Sales Team at Oxworks’ state-of-the-art head office, located at 102-108 Magnesium Drive Crestmead.

The Role

Reporting to the Regional Business Manager the Internal Sales Officer’s primary focus is to:

• Always provide exceptional customer service to Oxworks’ Trade client base
• Receive, interpret, and satisfy all points of customer enquiry (trade), providing quotes as required and ultimately converting these quotes professionally into Sales Orders/Sales Invoices
• Achieve greater than 90% answered call rates for all incoming calls.
• Liaise with various branch and warehouse staff daily to achieve 100% DIFOT with customer orders as required
• Effectively respond to customer issues and feedback, resolving in the best interests of Oxworks
• Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts
• Promote a harmonious environment with company departments to foster a positive and can-do approach to servicing the needs of Oxworks customers above the needs of a single department or Branch
• Source data on competitor activity, general market conditions, new product opportunities and general pricing movements in the market
• Work to reinforce the company’s Vision, Mission and Values

In summary, the Trade Sales Officer is a senior person in the Oxworks sales operation and is the conduit between the customer and the manufacturing facility, focussing on 100% DIFOT on all nationally placed customer orders.

The Applicant

The Ideal Candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Demonstrated sales experience in a manufacturing environment (preferable)
• Experience using MS Office, CRM software and ERP system (preferable)
• High level of attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills, people & communication skills
