As a senior environmental health officer, you will provide expert technical advice and act as a key reference point for the environmental health team and broader public health unit. This is an exciting opportunity to influence public health outcomes, lead complex investigations and regulatory activities, and work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to address emerging environmental health challenges.About us:

Cairns Public Health Unit (CPHU) aims to minimise the morbidity and mortality from communicable and vaccine-preventable diseases, and environmental health hazards thereby: CPHU fulfils the public health regulatory services on behalf of the Department of Health to ensure sound public health standards are maintained in communities.
