Senior Bookkeeper

About the business:
HSN Property Group, together with its construction arm HSN Construction, is a premium high-end residential and commercial property developer and builder based in Sydney.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions

• Invoice processing

• Perform bank, creditors, intercompany reconciliations

• Assist in preparation of BAS

• Cash flow monitoring and reporting

• Liaising with external suppliers / contractors

• Assist with audit requirements

• General clerical duties, including responding to emails and answering phone calls

• Ongoing bookkeeping and financial management activities

• Supporting ad-hoc reporting

Skills & Experience:

• Must be an Australian citizen / valid PR to apply for this position

• This is an office-based role in Sydney; working from home is not available

• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in Australia

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, and/or Commerce

• Previous property and/or construction accounting experience in Australia (preferred)

• High attention to detail

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience with Xero 

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• Positive, proactive approach in a fast-paced environment
