About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to develop a career in the electrical infrastructure industry while gaining exposure to both the commercial and operational aspects of major projects.
You'll have the opportunity to contribute to major power infrastructure projects, including transmission and distribution networks, substations, and mining and energy developments across Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of tenders, estimates, cost plans, and pricing submissions for electrical infrastructure projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to support accurate cost estimation and tender development.
Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations and maintain estimating databases and pricing records.
Provide administrative support throughout the project lifecycle, including document control, reporting, procurement, and project coordination.
Prepare and maintain project registers, spreadsheets, meeting minutes, and project documentation.
Coordinate mobilisation, onboarding, and compliance documentation for project personnel and subcontractors.
Support project managers with cost tracking, progress reporting, and general project administration.
Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure information is accurate, current, and actioned.
Maintain a high level of accuracy in record keeping, documentation, and data management.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support a positive safety and quality culture across all project activities.
What You Will Bring
Degree or studies in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
Strong administration, organisation, and coordination skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong numerical and analytical capability.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and project documentation (desirable).
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
