Chef (Casual)

We require an experience, self motivated and dedicated chef, for an immediate start, to work in our friendly team of professionals.  This is a casual position. And if you are looking for a work life balance , this role is for you.

To be successful in this role, it is essential you have:

• Experience on Fryer and Larder ( A must criteria)

• Trade qualifications

• References for referral

• Willingness to learn

• A passion for food

• Well organised

• Ability to follow directions

• Understanding of food costs, labour and budgets

• Flexible availability to include nights, weekends and public holidays

• Ability to work under pressure in a high volume kitchen

• Check the quantity and quality of all products received to ensure items are ordered and standards have been met

• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels to reduce wastage

• Experience implementing and managing food safety programs to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organisation

• A passion for mentoring, coaching and training of junior chefs/cooks including apprentices

• Hard working and reliable

• Good work ethics

• Work in a clean and tidy manner

• Able to work within a team

• Must have own transport

• NO VISA Sponsorship
