Backam Group is currently seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Assembler / Production Worker to join a leading Australian door manufacturing business based in Prestons, NSW.

📍 Location: Prestons, NSW
🛠 Position: Assembler / Production Worker
⏰ Start Times: 7:00am or 7:30am starts
💰 $35-$40ph
📅 Ongoing Opportunity
⏱ Overtime & Saturday work available when required

Working within a busy manufacturing environment, you will be involved in the assembly and production of commercial and industrial door systems. This role offers stable ongoing work with opportunities for overtime.

• Production line assembly of door components
• Manufacturing commercial and industrial door systems
• Basic welding duties
• Operating hand and power tools
• Assisting with material preparation and assembly processes
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Supporting the production team where required

You are reliable, hardworking, and enjoy hands-on manufacturing work.

To be considered for this role, you will have:

✔ Previous assembly, manufacturing, factory, or production experience
✔ Basic welding experience (highly regarded)
✔ Experience using hand and power tools
✔ Strong mechanical aptitude
✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
✔ High attention to detail and quality standards
✔ Reliable transport and strong attendance record
✔ Positive attitude and willingness to work overtime when required
