Join Our Indian Restaurant Team as a Hospitality Couple

We are looking for a husband-and-wife couple to join our Indian restaurant in beautiful Nelson Bay, NSW.

This is a great opportunity for a couple who would like to work together, learn the hospitality business and become an important part of our restaurant team.

Previous extensive restaurant experience is not essential. Training and support will be provided to the right couple who are enthusiastic, reliable and willing to learn.

👨‍🍳 Husband – Kitchen / Chef Role

The husband will primarily look after the kitchen and work alongside our existing team.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking Indian food

• Maintaining food quality and consistency

• Helping with food preparation and kitchen organisation

• Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards

• Assisting with stock and kitchen supplies

• Working as part of the kitchen team

• Learning our recipes, procedures and kitchen operations

👩‍💼 Wife – Front of House Role

The wife will primarily be responsible for the front-of-house operation.

Responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and assisting customers

• Taking orders and providing friendly customer service

• Managing the dining area during service

• Coordinating with the kitchen

• Handling customer enquiries

• Assisting with bookings and takeaway orders

• Maintaining presentation and cleanliness of the restaurant

• Helping with the day-to-day running of the restaurant
