ABOUT JOB:The Construction Manager manage and supervise all on‑site construction activities of high‑rise building projects, ensuring works are executed in compliance with approved designs, schedule, budget, quality standards, safety regulations, and local laws.
JOB DESCRIPTION:Construction ManagementManage and control daily construction activities for high‑rise buildings, including structural works, finishing works, and MEP installation.Ensure construction works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedule.Coordinate and supervise main contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.Schedule & Progress ControlMonitor construction progress and identify potential delays or risks.Propose corrective actions to maintain the approved construction schedule.Coordinate closely with the Project Manager on progress updates and recovery plans.Quality ManagementEnsure construction quality meets project specifications, codes, standards, and approved quality plans.Monitor inspections, tests, and quality control procedures on site.Manage non‑conformance issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies, safety plans, and local regulations.Monitor site safety conditions and ensure proper implementation of safety measures.Lead accident investigations and corrective action implementation when required.Technical CoordinationReview construction drawings, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.Coordinate technical issues related to structure, MEP, façade, fire protection, elevators, and other high‑rise systems.Resolve technical and construction challenges in coordination with consultants and contractors.Cost & Resource MonitoringAssist in monitoring construction costs and resource utilization.Review work quantities, site progress, and support verification of payment applications.Manage site manpower and equipment efficiently.Reporting & CommunicationPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly construction progress reports.Conduct site meetings and coordinate with stakeholders on construction matters.Report critical issues, risks, and deviations to the Project Manager promptly.Testing, Commissioning & HandoverCoordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and authority approvals.Support completion, snagging, de‑snagging, and final handover of the project.
REQUIREMENTS:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related fields.Minimum 8–12 years of experience in construction projects.At least 5 years of experience managing on‑site construction for high‑rise buildings (residential, office, hotel, mixed‑use).Technical Knowledge & SkillsStrong knowledge of high‑rise construction methods, structure, finishing, and MEP systems.Solid understanding of local building codes, standards, and safety regulations.Experience coordinating complex site logistics in dense urban environments.Strong leadership, site coordination, and problem‑solving skills.Management & Personal SkillsAbility to manage multiple contractors and disciplines on site.High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and results‑oriented mindset.Strong communication and reporting skills.Language & ToolsProficient in MS Office; experience using project management tools is an advantage.Good English communication skills (written and spoken) is an advantage.
