George’s Gourmet Meats in Cleveland is looking for a motivated and reliable Apprentice Butcher to join our award-winning team. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn traditional and modern butchery skills from experienced professionals in a supportive, friendly environment. Junior, school-based and adults are all encouraged to apply.

About the Role

As an Apprentice Butcher, you will:

• Learn all aspects of the butchery trade, including breaking down carcasses, portioning, trimming, and value-adding
• Assist with preparation of gourmet products
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Work as part of a passionate, hardworking team (and have some fun along the way!)

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Enthusiastic and eager to learn
• Punctual, trustworthy, and able to follow instructions
• Passionate about food and quality craftsmanship
• Physically capable of hands-on work
• Able to work some weekends as required

No experience is necessary — just the right attitude and a genuine interest in the trade.
