Senior Medical Officer Psychiatry

Provide specialist psychiatric care that changes lives while building your career in regional Queensland. Based in Dalby, this role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality mental health care across inpatient and community settings, lead multidisciplinary collaboration, support future clinicians, and contribute to better outcomes for individuals, families and communities.

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $339,279 (L14) comprising salary rates between $92.56 (L13) and $95.45 p.h. (L14), motor vehicle allowance, professional development allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., regional attraction allowance, locality allowance, inaccessibility incentive, professional indemnity cover and private practice arrangements. Superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) will be applied additionally to the total remuneration value.  This is a permanent full time, 80 hours per fortnight role.

As a Senior Medical Officer Psychiatry, you'll play a vital role in improving the mental health and wellbeing of people across the region.

• Medical degree and eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Significant experience delivering high-quality psychiatric assessment, treatment and clinical care.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• A commitment to clinical governance, continuous improvement, education and patient safety.
