About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Signage Production/Installer to join our growing team on a full-time basis at our Maroochydore location. This is a hands-on role where you will play a crucial part in bringing our signage designs to life, from production through to professional installation. You will be responsible for manufacturing and installing a variety of signage products, ensuring every project meets our high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern equipment and techniques whilst maintaining the traditional values of skilled trade work.

Key responsibilities

• Produce signage products including vinyl lettering, digital prints, built-up letters, and other custom signage solutions using industry-standard equipment

• Prepare surfaces and install signage on external and internal locations, ensuring secure and professional placement

• Operate and maintain signage production machinery, including vinyl cutters, laminators, and printing equipment

• Interpret design specifications and technical drawings to ensure accurate production and installation

• Measure and plan installation layouts to maximise visual impact and structural integrity

• Work safely at heights when required, adhering to all health and safety regulations and best practices

• Maintain a clean and organised production workspace and job sites

• Liaise with clients and team members to ensure projects are completed to specification and on schedule

• Perform quality checks on all finished products before installation and delivery

• Assist with vehicle fleet maintenance and upkeep where applicable

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a signage production technician, installer, or similar trade background

• Proficiency in operating signage production equipment such as vinyl cutters, digital printers, and laminators

• Strong practical skills with excellent attention to detail and precision

• Ability to work at heights and willingness to carry out installation work safely and confidently

• Sound knowledge of health and safety practices in the trades industry

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability to different project requirements

• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Valid driver's licence and reliable access to transport

• Physical fitness and capability to lift and handle signage materials safely

• Willingness to learn new techniques and stay current with industry developments
