Catering Assistant/Cleaner

We’re seeking a reliable Catering Assistant/Cleaner to join our team at Cooinda Aged Care, Gympie. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents and visitors.

Location: Gympie, Qld.

Role Type: Casual Positions

Remuneration: $35.40 - $38.22 ph (includes 25% casual loading) + Super +Salary Packaging +Access to staff discounts & benefits

What You'll Do

Provide a high standard of cleaning and hygiene throughout the facilityEnsure residents’ rooms and shared areas are tidy, clean, and welcomingMonitor and use cleaning chemicals safely and effectivelySupport meal preparation and service with warmth and careWork closely with the Chef and other team members to ensure smooth mealtimesEngage respectfully with residents, visitors, and co-workers

What You'll Bring

You have strong attention to detail and a positive attitudePrevious experience in Catering Assistant/Cleaning in an aged care environment is highly regarded You’re comfortable using cleaning equipment and following safety proceduresNDIS Worker Screening or valid Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
