Lead a High-Performing Health Administration Team

Lead and support administrative teams within the Specialist Outpatient Department and Medical Typing team, driving service excellence, operational efficiency and positive patient experiences.

Your new role:

As Administration Manager, you will lead the delivery of high-quality administrative services across the Specialist Outpatient Department and Medical Typing team. You will manage staff, workflows, systems and performance while partnering with clinical and operational leaders to improve efficiency, data integrity and patient-focused service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop administrative teams, fostering a supportive and high-performing workplace.
• Manage workloads, staffing, systems and processes to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Drive quality improvement, data integrity, compliance and innovative administrative solutions.
• Partner with managers and clinical teams on workforce, revenue, reporting and operational priorities.

About you:

You are an experienced administration leader who can confidently manage competing priorities, develop people and improve services within a complex healthcare environment. You bring strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a genuine commitment to client and patient-focused service.

• Strong leadership and workforce management experience in a complex environment.
• Advanced communication, negotiation, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Experience driving continuous improvement, change management and service innovation.
• Knowledge of HR, industrial relations, financial management and administrative systems.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
