What you'll do
As the Program Manager, you will lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of complex statewide programs and priority initiatives, ensuring performance is achieved against project plans, schedules and strategic objectives through the application of contemporary program and project management methodologies. You will oversee program governance, manage resources and budgets, monitor risks, maintain reporting and evaluation frameworks, and drive the successful implementation of community-led service co-design initiatives in partnership with Midwifery leadership. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including First Nations peoples and organisations, you will foster effective communication, provide expert advice on policy, legislative and regulatory matters to senior executives and government representatives, and ensure alignment across related nursing and midwifery initiatives. Your ability to build strong relationships, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality reports, briefings and correspondence will be essential in advancing key maternity and health workforce priorities across Queensland.
