About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven New Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our team at Heritage Auto Group in Lilydale, Victoria. As a full-time Sales Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving sales targets for our expanding range of new vehicles.

What you'll be doing

• Provide personalised sales support and guidance to customers throughout the buying process

• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our vehicle inventory, features, and pricing

• Effectively showcase and demonstrate our vehicles to potential customers

• Follow up on customer inquiries and convert leads into sales

• Achieve individual and team-based sales targets

• Provide exceptional post-sale customer support and follow-up

• Contribute to the overall success of the sales team and the dealership

What we're looking for

• Minimum 12 months of experience in a sales or customer-facing role, within the automotive industry

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers

• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service

• Excellent product knowledge and the ability to educate and inform customers

• Confident and enthusiastic approach to sales, with a genuine passion for the automotive industry

• Strong negotiation and closing skills

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
