This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your experience and knowledge in investing in Unlisted Assets. Join the Unlisted Assets team at HESTA as an Investment Associate and help our Investment Managers deploy capital into global investment opportunities across Infrastructure, Private Equity and Property.

In the Unlisted Assets team at HESTA, you will participate in a range of investment methods including co-investment, direct investment and partnering with external fund managers. A key focus of this role is monitoring how our assets are performing, undertaking due diligence on fund managers and investigating a range of interesting new investment opportunities which will ultimately drive returns for our members.

This role could be based in Melbourne or Sydney.

About you

Base level technical skills required for this role include working knowledge of financial modelling and company analysis in the context of assessing investment opportunities (financial statements, valuations, forecasting, business drivers and dynamics).

Key characteristics that are essential for success in this role include:

• Experience in Unlisted Assets from an investment, consulting or asset management perspective is preferred.
• A curious and questioning nature, you will look beyond what's presented, search for alternate perspectives and question those you already have.
• An analytical mind, capable of more than producing data, you can take data to produce insights, draw conclusions and solve for implementation.
• You will have a collaborative approach, will contribute to what the team needs and can work proactively to solve for it.
• You are personable and able to actively find, build and maintain relationships with key partners internally and externally.
