Your Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Flight Line Technician to join our team at PTS East Sale. In this role, you will provide efficient maintenance support for PC-21 aircraft, undertaking flight line and minor hangar maintenance activities. You will contribute to the safe, reliable and timely operation of aircraft while ensuring all maintenance work, records and certifications meet applicable requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer who enjoys a hands-on aviation environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality technical outcomes.

This Full Time position offers an Annual Salary Package which starts from AUD$92,237 to $101,181 plus Super plus Military Bonus plus OT.

Your Responsibilities

• Participating in flight line planning activities as required.
• Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Performing line maintenance functions and approved minor hangar maintenance activities.
• Ensuring applicable Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and other mandatory requirements are complied with before their expiry.
• Completing and certifying all maintenance entries and documentation accurately and on time.
• Supporting defect analysis and maintenance investigations.
• Ensuring the data and technical information used is current and applicable.
• Maintaining effective tool control and Foreign Object Debris control procedures.
• Ensuring ground support equipment is serviceable and reporting any defects or deficiencies.
• Adhering to occupational health and safety, environmental, security and company policy requirements.
• Carrying out aircraft washing and associated corrosion-control inspections.
• Performing aircraft towing, repositioning, refuelling and marshalling in accordance with approved procedures.
• Supporting Jet Aviation's Core Values and contributing to a strong safety culture.
• Undertaking other duties as reasonably directed by your supervisor.

What will Help you to Succeed

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer experience with a minimum of two years' aircraft experience.
• Formal training in line maintenance inspections and specific maintenance tasks.
• The ability and willingness to undertake further training through an OEM-endorsed organisation.
• The ability to meet the requirements for security clearance at the relevant RAAF Base.
• Knowledge of CASA regulations.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety and environmental requirements.
• Previous experience with PC-9, PT6 and/or glass cockpit aircraft is desirable.
