Known for our freshly cooked seafood, quality food, and commitment to customer experience, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our Alstonville team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands on leader who thrives in a fast paced hospitality environment and is focused on developing strong teams, maintaining high standards, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

About the Role

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operation of our Alstonville store, ensuring consistently high standards across customer experience, food quality, team performance, workplace culture, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the store

• Lead, mentor, and develop both Front of House and Back of House teams

• Build a positive, productive, and customer focused workplace culture

• Prepare staff rosters and manage labour costs and daily staffing requirements

• Monitor stock levels, ordering, wastage, and inventory control

• Ensure food safety, workplace health and safety, and company policies are consistently followed

• Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, presentation, and customer service

• Work closely with senior management to achieve sales, operational, and business goals

• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and ongoing staff training

• Identify opportunities to improve store performance and customer experience

About You

We are looking for an experienced hospitality leader with excellent people skills, strong operational knowledge, and a genuine passion for developing teams and delivering great results.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a hospitality management role

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

• The ability to remain calm and lead effectively in a fast paced environment

• A hands on approach and strong work ethic

• Experience managing labour, stock, wastage, and operational costs

• A strong understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

Location: The Trident Fish & Grill, Alstonville
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year, negotiable based on experience and qualifications
