About Us

Harlex Farms Pty Ltd is a broadacre cropping farm located in Miling, Western Australia, producing wheat, barley, canola and hay. We're looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Broadacre Crop Farm Worker to join our team and play a key role across our cropping operations.

About the Role

Reporting to farm management, you will perform skilled tasks on our broadacre crop farm, helping to manage and supervise the planting, cultivation and harvest of our crops.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and supervising the planting, cultivation and harvesting of broadacre crops (wheat, barley, canola and hay)
• Operating, maintaining and monitoring farm machinery and equipment
• Applying skilled knowledge of soil preparation, crop management and seasonal timing
• Supervising and assisting other farm workers as required
• Monitoring crop health and identifying issues relating to pests, weeds and disease
• Ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with workplace health and safety requirements

About You

• Demonstrated experience in broadacre cropping operations
• Skilled in operating and maintaining farm machinery
• Ability to work independently and lead others during key periods such as seeding and harvest
• Strong understanding of crop cultivation practices
• A current driver's licence (and relevant machinery tickets/licences where applicable)

Pay: $80,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
