Mount Barker | Leadership Team

AMIGA Montessori is excited to be opening a new early learning service in Mount Barker, South Australia, with an anticipated opening in November 2026.

We are seeking an experienced, passionate and highly capable Centre Manager to lead the service through its establishment and opening, creating a strong culture where children, families and team members feel welcomed, supported and inspired.

About the Opportunity As the Centre Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the service while leading a high-performing team committed to delivering quality education and care.
Working closely with our Operations, People and Culture, Recruitment and Pedagogy teams, you will support the successful opening of the centre, including team recruitment, enrolment growth, compliance readiness and community engagement.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the establishment and successful opening of the new Mount Barker service
• Building, mentoring and inspiring a strong and collaborative team
• Creating a welcoming and inclusive culture for children, families and employees
• Ensuring the service operates in line with the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Child Safe requirements
• Driving enrolments and building strong relationships within the Mount Barker community
• Managing staffing, budgets, occupancy and overall service performance
• Supporting high-quality Montessori education and practice
• Maintaining clear communication with families and the broader support office team
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and child safety

About You You are an experienced early childhood leader who is confident establishing strong systems, supporting a developing team and creating a positive service culture.
You will ideally have:

• A Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Previous experience as a Centre Manager, Director or in a comparable senior leadership position such as Assistant Director
• A strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, National Regulations and Child Safe requirements
• Proven experience leading, mentoring and developing teams
• Strong operational, financial and occupancy management skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• A proactive, calm and solutions-focused leadership approach
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality outcomes for children and families
• Experience opening a new service or supporting a service through growth will be highly regarded
