Retail Bottleshop Attendant

We have two positions available for Bottleshop attendants at our Liquor Legends retail outlets. Both are casual positions and will require the candidate to be available to work both nights and weekends. Total weekly hours approx 25-30 hours per week

On the job training provided, however retail experience and a knowledge of alcoholic beverages essential. Ability to learn the Point of Sale software and some heavy lifting is involved to fulfill the required duties.

Strong customer service experience and the ability to troubleshoot and work independently is essential.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Basic cash handling and point-of-sale experience

• Knowledge of alcoholic products is helpful

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

• Good attention to detail and reliability

• Ability to lift and move cartons or stock safely

• Understanding of responsible service of alcohol requirements

• Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience in retail or hospitality

• RSA or equivalent alcohol service certification, depending on local laws

• Confidence in upselling and product recommendations
