About NACCHO
The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is the national peak body representing 148 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). ACCHOs deliver comprehensive primary health care to more than half of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples nationally.
About the Role
As Senior Project Officer, FASD, you will play a key role in coordinating and delivering NACCHO’s maternal and child health programs, with a particular focus on the Strong Born FASD awareness program. Working closely with Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs), government partners, sector stakeholders and community leaders, you will support culturally safe, community-led approaches to FASD prevention and maternal and child health.
This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to national programs that support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, children and families, while building strong partnerships, managing program activities and helping shape strategic initiatives aligned with Closing the Gap priorities.
