Electrical Assembler / Switchboard Builder

We’re looking for an Electrical Assembler / Switchboard Builder to help wire, assemble, and deliver our high-quality residential lifts - all from our clean and well-organised workshop in Penrith NSW.

This is the perfect role for someone who enjoys repetitive, structured work, takes pride in their accuracy, and thrives in a process-driven environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assemble and wire switchboards from pre-cut panels and wiring diagrams

• Mount completed panels onto lift head sections

• Use hand and power tools confidently and safely

• Test wiring and continuity with basic test equipment

• Label and terminate cables clearly and accurately

• Follow structured SOPs and complete tasks to spec every time

• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and workshop inspections

• Keep your workspace clean, organised, and safe

• Assist with general workshop tasks and final unit prep when needed

What You’ll Need

• An electrical licence is not required, but is highly regarded

• 3rd or 4th year electrical apprentice OR experienced electrical assembler

• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and interpret job sheets

• Comfortable working independently in a repetitive, build-to-process role

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and tidy in your work habits

• Experience with switchboard assembly or lift components is a bonus

Pay & Perks

• $35–$40/hr for experienced applicants without a licence

• Up to $45/hr for licensed and highly skilled candidates

• Some site work is required to assist in installing lifts
