Sewing Machinist / Factory Hand

About the role

This is an entry level position. We are seeking a reliable, team-oriented individual who would like to learn how to use a CNC cutting machine to cut textiles and sew using an industrial sewing machine. The successful candidate should have general knowledge of textiles and fabrics, along with good to average computer skills with a desire to learn. Be organized and be able to follow instructions.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a CNC fabric cutting machine

• Understand basic computer skills

• Load rolls of fabric onto the machine

• Sew large scale panels on an industrial sewing machine

• Work alongside our production and design team

About you

• Previous textile/fabric cutting experience is highly regarded

• Experience in operating an automated CNC cutting machine will be a definite advantage

• Sewing experience preferred, but we can train the right person

• Physically fit

• Punctual, reliable, and able to work both autonomously and in a team environment
